Deep Cove Osaka Sushi

I love Osaka Sushi. It's a neighbourhood treasure and I have never had a bad experience there.

Very poor. They would never survive in Vancouver. Tiny portions and tasteless food. They need to learn how to make real sushi.

I would give this 'japanese' rest. a 5 out of l0. I've been in dozens of sushi restaurants all over the vancouver area and this place is one of the worst in terms of authenticity, flavour and portion size. I ordered sashimi, rolls, udon soup and tempura. The ingredients in the rolls and the sashimi tasted days old. The soup and tempura were good, but they serve a very odd tasting sauce for the tempura

only thing is, small portions really expensive. but fabulously amazing sushi!!!! very origional, my fav is the sushi pizza!

Best spicy sauce around! Deeelish!

The food is fair but if you sit by the windows there are trapped flys in the window and some are dead - not a nice atmosphere for dining. It makes you lose your appetite.

We use to dine regularly at Osaka Sushi. Unfortunately one time we received a maki roll with a long dark hair in it. We know this can happen. The disappointing factor was the way the restaurant handled the situation. There was no expectations from us that the meal would be free, rather just that we would not be charged for replacing the roll with hair. This did not happen. We left feeling very disappointed with the customer service and vowed not to return.

I recently dined at osaka restaurant and th establishment itself is very nice with a gas fireplace(The view of the cove outside doesnt hurt either.) The prices are decent and the food was excellent.Some of the best sushi in the lower mainland.
